A Generous Donation to Lorraine NGK Primary
Wednesday, 25 January, the teachers at Lorraine NGK Primary School hosted a special event to thank PSA (Public Servants Association of South Africa) for their generous donation of school equipment and gear.
Angling Club
The DTK Fairtrade Angling Club hosts children to retirees. People from all ages of the community get to connect and grow together, uplifting the Rawsonville community as a whole.

On 25 November Janneke Rutten, from 2Blossom Foundation, and Stan Beurskens, owner of St Martinus, visited our 2Blossom After School Arts & Crafts Centre.
Young Shooters
The Young Shooters were established on Tierstel farm, but are made up of players from surrounding farms as well: Lorraine, Houmoed, and Florence. Most of which are also Fairtrade-accredited farms.
Thetha Nathi Session
Our Du Toitskloof Fairtrade Initiative office attended the Thetha Nathi Session in July. An invitation was sent to all NPOs Breede Valley Municipality.
Jukskei Club
Once a month the Visarende organises a Jukskei day. These days are family-orientated, shifting the focus away from competition, but rather focusing on building good relationships and quality time with family.

Muscle Up Kinetics for our Children
Muscle Up Kinetics is a kinderkinetics practice currently running at all three of our daycare centres. They mainly focus on the motor development of children between the ages of 0 and 7 years of age.
New Supplies for Daycare Centres
February was an exciting month for the children and staff of the Fairhills daycare centres. All three centres in Rawsonville (Cabriere, Onderplaas and Tierstel) received brand new educational toys and activities.

In August of 2021, the 2Blossom Foundation, in collaboration with Du Toitskloof Fairtrade Initiative, introduced an after-school arts and crafts project to our farming community.
