About our Transport Initiative
Transport is vital for the mobility and well-being of staff, children, and members of the Fairhills Association (DTK Fairtrade Initiative). So, having a transport service in place is crucial to the success of our Fairtrade programme. Currently, Du Toitskloof Fairtrade Initiative has two mini busses enabling easy transport solutions for our Fairtrade programme.
Empowering Our Youth: Breedekloof Takes Action
On June 14, 2024, Fairtrade Africa and Du Toitskloof Fairtrade Initiative (DTK Fairtrade Initiative) joined forces to host a pivotal Youth Day meeting. The aim was to confront the pressing challenges afflicting the youth of our Breedekloof community.
16 Days of Activism Event
On Friday, 10 November, Du Toitskloof Fairtrade Initiative hosted a 16 Days of Activism event for the women from our Fairtrade farms. Advocate Cindy Abdol, from our neighbouring town Worcester, spearheaded a crucial discussion on violence against women and children.
A Generous Donation to Lorraine NGK Primary
Wednesday, 25 January, the teachers at Lorraine NGK Primary School hosted a special event to thank PSA (Public Servants Association of South Africa) for their generous donation of school equipment and gear.
