Our Young Bus Designers

During the second school term, the 2Blossom Foundation ran a friendly competition to raise transport funds for our learners at the 2Blossom Arts & Crafts Centre.

The competition entailed that each learner create one bus design - the more creative, the better. All these designs were sent off to the 2Blossom Foundation headquarters in the Netherlands, where they chose a winner. The winner’s design would be used in Jumbo, a supermarket in the Netherlands, to promote the cause.

In June, Simone Clarke, Secretary Board Of Directors at the 2Blossom Foundation, visited the arts centre to congratulate the winner and hand over the prize.

Our winner was one of our Grade 7 learners at Lorraine NGK Primary School, who shows great promise when it comes to creativity and design. She was handed a certificate from the 2Blossom Foundation, as well as a prize which included art supplies.
